I know what it is.
But it's useless in Brawl. _________________ Affiliate site:

Wavedashing is an advanced technique that is used in Melee. If you do a short hop, then press the "R" button and angle the joystick in a downwards diagonal direction (repeating this process many times), you will do a wavedash. You also need to move as you do it... kind of hard to explain. Little cloud-like puffs will appear at your feet. The idea is to go back and forth and fool your opponent so that they won't know what you're going to do.
You can't do it in Brawl, as Pyre said. If you want to practice in Melee, it's best to use Luigi because he has the most noticeable wavedash.
I personally never used it because it's just too hard to do, makes my hands hurt, and didn't seem to help me win more (probably because I already beat my friends the most ). |
