Super Smash Bros. 4 IdeasNo, it is not a game, yet. I will probably not come out for a decade if ever. This thread is not for speculation, just ideas.Such as characters, that could actually be in it, not like Harry Potter or Sgt. Drake, like real possible characters. And also game modes and stuff that you want to be in the game. I'll start things off: I think the game could be called Super Smash Bros. Duel!! Or maybe Super Smash Brothers 4!! Bowser Jr! Mini-Bio: He is Bowser's favorite and youngest son. He weilds a paintbrush in Super Mario Sunshine, which allowed him to turn into Shadow Mario. He likes to bother Mario and capture the princess, just like his father. He also thinks Peach is his mother! WTF?!? Hopefully not... naughty peach. 
Appearances: The main antagonist of Super Mario Sunshine, and New Super Mario Bros. He also guards 3 stars in Super Mario Galaxy. Bowser Jr. has also made an appearance as playable characters in several mario games, such as Mario Kart Wii, Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, Mario Party DS, and will be in Super Mario Sluggers. 
Possible Moveset: Special- Bite: 8%: similiar to Wario's but you can't munch as long Forward Special- Paintbrush: 5%: like Kirby's copy ability only this time you copy the foes forward special Up Special- Shell Spin: 16% maximum: same as his father's only his goes higher instead of farther, damage can vary depending on if you follow through with the attack Down Special- Hide: 10%: you hide inside your shell. You can hold down the special move button and go left and right with the control stick, you stop when you slow down. Similiar to Jigglypuff's special move only without the charge

I think I swell inclusion for Smash 4 would be...
Alternate costumes (with alternate colors for each costume) By alternate costumes, I mean like Wario in Brawl and how he has two costumes, and different colors for both. Each character should be able to at least have 3 alternate costumes and 4 colors for each (at the least) |

Ike can have both of his Radiant Dawn outfits, and his PoR Lord costume can be a color change. Pikachu could have Pichu and Raichu. DK could have Funky Kong... But some wouldn't be able to have three. Lucario? Mario? |

For pokemon like Lucario and Jiggles, They can easily do the same thing like they have already done for Pikachu, just give them new hats or backbacks. Lucario could even wear a cape or something. Mario? Thats one of the easier ones, just give him his regular overalls, then he can have some of those outfits you get during his games. Such as the Racoon Mario, or the newest one, the Bee Mario (from Galaxy). Lets not forget we can always give him the Dr. Mario Costume. |

How about a color changer. There'd be 2 costumes for each character, and a color changer.
You get to change, like Mario's hat color, his overall color, overall button color, and glove color. There'd be like 15 different colors. You could play as Blue and pink Mario, or Black and white Mario. That'd be cool. |

Thats cool too. The only problem I see in that, is players like me getting POd at the guy spending 5 minutes on choosing his colors for a match that will last one. |

Well, maybe they could make it so you save it under your name. You choose your name, you choose those colors for your character. |

Here are my main complaints with the game that they should fix in the next game (if there is a next one):
1) Fix the lag online. Let players choose if they want time or stock matches. 2) Bring back Mewtwo. 3) Don't fill the game with useless stuff like masterpieces. 4) Add a Smash Brothers Kart mode of play. As for characters, I'm not sure if there are many they could add. I think they have most of the main Nintendo characters. I suppose they could add well-known celebrities if they get desperate. |

Actually... that would be a pretty awsome game in itself:
Mario Kart: All Stars Featuring all of the characters from the current Mario Karts plus characters from Smash Bros, like Link and Charizard.  Nice

1. Bring back Mewtwo and add Darkrai. Give Ganondorf a better moveset, add Ridley, add another F-Zero rep, and put in Toad. That's really all I need for new characters.
2. I second the Super Smash Bros. Kart. 3. Make sure every character is actually playable in Subspace Emissary. Some characters are HORRIBLE there due to them not being designed for a side-scrolling type of game. Those are my top three, really. I'm fine with whatever they do if they do the above (and 2 isn't even too nessecary, just unbelievably cool). Also, Bowser Jr. doesn't think Peach is his mama anymore. Not only that, but in Sunshine Bowser Jr. even flat out SAYS that he knew Peach wasn't his mama even when Bowser told him she was his mother. He also doesn't have the paintbrush anymore - the only mainstream game he had it in was Super Mario Sunshine. Then again, even if he doesn't have it anymore, Mario still doesn't have FLUDD right now either, so... |

I never owned sunshine...
I doubt Darkrai will ever be in over some others, or Mewtwo. I think they should make Pokemon trainer have the 2nd gen starters now!  And bring back Lucario. That's all the series needs.
They should completely remake the wifi. |

Lucario was my number one choice for Brawl, and I barely ever play as him  So when it comes to new Pokemon characters, I think I'll sit this one out.
And yeah, masterpieces were so lame lol, unless its the whole entire game, pretty pointless. |

I'm sorry, but that's a bad idea. Tell me, what would you put in over Darkrai besides Mewtwo? You can't really put in anything else besides him at this point, and they need another 4th Gen represenative anyways. As for the 2nd generation starters, how about no? Not a whole lot of people really care about 2nd generation starters compared to the others. Who's more awesome, Charizard or Typhlosion? If you said Charizard, you're right. |

The only pokemon I see that might have the slightest chance of getting in over Darkrai (besides Mewtwo) is Blaziken. He's pretty well built for a Smash Bros type of character, and at least fairly popular. Of course, by the time the next Smash Bros is in the makes, I'm sure a 5th gen of pokemon will be out, and Blaziken will be old news. No one ever forgets Mewtwo though, no matter how many gens there are. |

For SSB4 - as far as Pokemon goes, I expect Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Pokemon Trainer, Mewtwo, and a 5th Gen rep. Pichu was there for 2nd Gen; he was cut, as 2nd Gen isn't new any more. By the time the next game rolls around, Lucario won't be fresh and fancy anymore, so he shall be replaced.

I agree with you Johnny. Although I personally wouldn't mind seeing even more Generation 1 Pokemon (not going to happen, I know).
The absolute worst thing they could do, in my opinion, is to remove one of the original 12 characters. Oh, and it would be cool if they brought Board the Platforms back. I'm starting to think that maybe it would be a better idea for Nintendo just to make Brawl version 2. I don't see them being able to make enough characters for an entirely new game. If they made a version two, they could add a few more characters (Mewtwo, Ridley, etc), fix the online play, and add more stages. I'm not sure if that would be worth the standard $50... maybe they could sell it for about $20 as an "expansion?" |

Gadd Petey King Wart Krystal Slippy General Scales Zant Vaati Midna/Wolf Link Skull Kid Onox Veran Goron Tingle Mewtwo Darkrai (or any other diserving pokemon) King K. Rool Dixie Kong Metroid Prime Ridley One of the "Hunters" Samurai Goroh Animal Crosser K.K. Slider Tom Nook Those are a few characters that could make it in a new Smash Bros game. Some of them are pushing it, yeah, but you know... they've got a cash cow on their hands, they'll make a number 4. |

Johnny, you talk about how Lucario will be old news and replaced, what about Jigglypuff?
I don't watch the show anymore, but I don't remember seeing it on there for a long time, unlike Pikachu, and it didn't get a movie like Lucario. It is old. I still like Jigglypuff, I just question why he's still in. The problem is, there are 493 pokemon, which will change, so it's kind of hard to choose. As on the front page, I think Bowser Jr. should be in. Ganondorf with new moveset Toon Link with slightly different moveset Ness or Lucas has got to go (They are too similiar) Maybe bring in Knuckles Krystal or Slippy or give Wolf/Falco different movesets Turtwig, Monferno, Empoleon??? Trade trophies/stickers over wifi! You set up a shop, and then people come by when your not on and trade stuff for it! Like the pokemon GTS! That way, you'll find use for all the extras you have. I agree with what Bloody said, some characters weren't meant for SSE. I didn't like it. Why play that when you can just fight? I say, make it more interesting somehow. |

Metanite, they are NEVER going to remove a character that was in the first game. Jigglypuff stays. I would love to see Lucario get bumped off the rooster, but I doubt it will happen due to his numerous fanboys... I'm looking at you, Dragonfire. | ||||||||||||||||||

-I think the resons why Jiggles is still in are because a) Jiggles has a completely unique moveset, all his/her own. b) One of the original characters. -I don't think Ness or Lucas needs to go, just add a 3rd Mother character with a different style of play. I think Toon Link, Falco, and Wolf don't need to be changed any. I personally think they play different enough from the original Link and Fox to warrent a clone(ish) status, not full-blown clone. -I think I may be one of the few people thatside with this thought, but I think Ganon should be left the way he is. He had the opportunity to change for Brawl, but after 2 games of Falcon style playing, it would be odd seeing him any different. The only change to his moves that I would make, is possibley changing his downB to a trandform type of move (like Zelda and PT) Instead of transforming his appearance, he just pulls out his sword, then his moves change. So everyone's happy, the people that demand he use his sword, and those who are used to his Falcon play. -I wouldn't mind knuckles, idk if he'll make it. -I can see where you're going with the three pokemon, a new trainer, but I don't think we need another trainer. |

Nah. No more than one character per francise... plus, not having Tails would be weird.
Wolf could use some changes to his B Moves, but Falco's been Fox 2.0 since Melee... I doubt they'll change him now. Keep 'em both, don't add anyone.
Piplup, what's-his-name-Turtwig-bigger, and Infernape are much more likely... 'cuz Japan LOVES Piplup. But if anything I'd rather have a Pokemon Trainer with Piplup, Bayleef, and Blaziken, to represent Generations 2, 3, and 4.
I could see that working.
Most of Lucario's fans are small children and online Pokemon junkies... both of which have tastes that change with the tides. By the time 5th Gen comes out, small children will have something new to worship and high-tech internet fighters will have a new super beast to battle with. |

I'd much rather have all 2nd Gen if the Trainer gets an upgrade. Except change it so each type is at a different stage. Cyndaquil, Bayleef, Feraligator is my pick. Even though thats only switching fire and water. Or Chikorita, Quilava, Feraligator. Maybe that'd be better. Yes, the second one defiantly. I also think they could make That one a girl, and then keep our current one, a guy, with his Pokemon. Or even make it like people said, a custom costume. Like Wario, with two different, he could have a choice between 1st and 2nd Gen Pokemon. I win.

Johnny, aren't there more than one character for most of the franchises? Are do you just mean the 3rd party ones? Yeah... if there was a 4 game... that gives me an idea. Remember about the alternate costumes, like Wario... you can switch the gen... Pokemon Trainer: 1st gen Pokemon Trainer: 2nd gen Pokemon Trainer: 3rd gen Well, you get the idea. (these are not different and separate characters... you can switch the same character, like you can switch the colors and stuff) And something else... just an idea, not as cool as the first, and probably definitely something that wouldn't be done... but pretty cool. You can change the Pokemon around too, but only 1 type of evolution. Example... now it's: Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard but you could change it to like: Bulbasaur, Charmeleon, Blastoise or you could change: Charmander, Wartortle, Venusaur You know, all the possible combinations. (except for the same pokemon, maybe... who knows, it could work out... Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard... but I kinda doubt it...) |

Yeah, Mewtwo should've been in it, but absolutely no Naruto. He's a cartoon character, not a Nintendo video game character. I'd rather Bugs Bunny be in first. And Destroy All Humans is Xbox, I think, so that would be unlikely. I'd rather they have Bomberman or Pacman as the next 3rd party. Megaman is very unlikely because of problems Nintendo has had with Capcom recently. |

A new character could be a space pirate, but there are so many I chose the commandos!
Pirate Commandos! 
Unique pirates, that Samus fought on Aether and the Pirate Homeworld. They were specially trained to "hunt the hunter." Moveset: Up Special- same as ROB's only slower, doesn't last as long, and you just have to hold the button. Side Special- they counter an attack by bringing out a strange sheild. Works like Marth's basically Down Special- dissappear and reappear.no damage at all, and very little lag, less than Meta Knights. Not quite as long as Zelda's. Special- shoots a grenade. Just like Snake's only it doesn't lob in the air. |
