I hate that they added that to Tyrannitar. In Crystal, he was one of my best, but he just hurt my emerald team more than help, with his sandstorm thing...

Heck, even with the sandstorm, it only does 1/16th every turn. It's basically the equivalent of getting hit by 1 layer Spikes, which is often in competetive battles. It isn't too bad by itself, but it's bad for the opponent when your pokemon are mostly immune to the storm and his aren't.

I like his Sandstream ability, because it helps chip away at the enemy's life and also raises Tyranitar's Special Defense by 1.5, which can be very useful.
My team isn't complete because I'm a perfectionist and I like all the Pokes to have good IV's, EV's, moves, nature, and ability. I recently finished building up my Larvitar. I think he has 252 Atk ev's, 252 Spd ev's, and 6 HP. His IV's are all above 25, I think (I'm not going to take the time to get them all to 31).

How exactly do you train for IV's and EV's? I know what they are, but I don't know how to train them well...

I actually enjoy EV/IV training. And Metaknight...Serebii.net and psypoke.org have great guides to training.
I'm going to work on Milotic and Bronzong (he's going to be a Toxi-Trapper/Tank) next. Tyranitar isn't even going to be part of my team. I just perfected him so that he could win victories in the battle tower so that I could earn those Power Items.

There are ups and downs to that.
some pros:
1) Someone to play with
2) Someone to share chores with
3) If older or around your age, someone to help with homework or teach you stuff
4) if younger, SOMEONE THAT IS REALLY CUTE AND ADORABLE AND DOES A BUNCH OF FUNNY STUFF THAT MAKES YOU LAUGH A LOT! ^_^ . . . um.. *cough* yeah... *cough*
some cons:
1) can be annoying
2) money is spent on presents for them too, meaning you could get less presents or not as good ones
3) can be REALLY annoying
4) they might want to play while you are playing, like they want to play a wii game but you're playing the wii or something like that
5) they might want to watch something else on the tv
6) they might break some of your stuff
Those are only a few, and there are definately much more pros, and more cons too. But fortunately, I have a bunch of pros and not much cons happen.  I'm so glad I have 3 other siblings! ^_^
