Anyone up for it? I'm finally able to participate, so I'd like to give this a shot! I don't care about the format either, as in Teams or Singles or whatever. I'll make the bracket and play, but I don't care about the rest. Lets do it!

We tried to have a tournament a few months ago but it didn't work out. We didn't have enough people participating.

I wish we could expand somehow... but I really can't open a thread on 'Scapers without feeling weird, and asking people from places OTHER than HeroScapers would be against the spirit of the site. Y'know?

Hmm... hey, if any of you guys have sig space on 'Scapers, could you link to this site? I'll make up a banner if enough people want it.

With more than two players, it gets too laggy. We should also try without items one game to see if that speeds it up even more.

It does. But only Player one (whoever creates the game) can change that. I will be willing to try anything to get a tourney going.

I think we should do a simpler style of tournament since we're having trouble gathering people for a regular one. It would be 1v1 and whoever wins the match gets a point; the champion is the one with the most points after a certain amount of matches. Everybody would fight everybody an equal amount of times to make it fair. It would work better than the elimination format we've been trying to do (IMO).

The format would look something like this:

Lord Pyre
- vs MadNik: (wins/losses)
- vs Johnny: (wins/losses)
- vs Elffy: (wins/losses)

MetaNite
- vs MadNik: (wins/losses)
- vs Johnny: (wins/losses)
- vs Elffy: (wins/losses)

Etc.

Does that sound good?

Sounds good, thats how we do card game tournements over here. And guys, I'll try my best, but if I'm ever home, I'm usually busy with something else that needs to be done. I usually can't get on until late, and I mean LATE.

If we could only get 3 more people to join. I can talk to Star and ask him. That leaves 2 people. I'm sure my friend would be interested and he would just play as me. Well, use my Wii anyways. Thats only one person left for a normal tourney.

I'd be up for a tournament, since I finally got Wi-Fi up a while ago. I've made sure my skills haven't been diluted by playing Brawl at the computer camp I go to. R.O.B. reporting for duty!
