New Metroid Game! *Fake*Yeah, I lied. No such thing. April Foolz  Seriously though, these are my ideas for the game. I was influenced by johnny's list, replaying Zero Mission and the cool music in Brawl. (still working on its name)
Story:
Dark Samus has been defeated. His death was not in vain for the Space Pirates. Before he was destroyed he completed a project laid down by Pirates years ago. After Samus Aran destroyed Mother Brain the last time, the Space Pirates have been planning to make another. Father Brain! J/K Not only that, they plan to put this brain into a machine, a super computer. Capable of only destruction! Samus recieved a call telling her to check out two possible planets where the surviving Space Pirates hid out with their invention. Samus hurried to find out but before she could choose which planet, she was shot down by the bounty hunter, Sylux. On the planet Samus would find clues and secrets of all kinds. When she finally makes it out she reaches the other possible planet with Sylux still on her tail. She must dodge the Pirates and Sylux to defeat the super computer. (work in progress)
Controls:
You control Samus just like in Fusion only there is a grapple beam that is used to get to high places and pull enemies closer and some other puzzle things. Along with that, there is a button that lets you go into Morphball quick and get out quick. It's the only way into morphball. You get to choose which button is shoot, jump, morphball and grapple. A, B, X, or Y.
The top screen shows the map and you control Samus on the bottom.
Along with that, there are some touch screen controls! I figured out a way that a scan visor could be included! Tap the enemy or item to scan it. The screen would pause and there'd be no waiting for it to scan, just tap. You could scan all enemies and items with a glowing green ring around them could be scanned.
Select switches beams.
Powerups:
When you pause you'd be able to see your inventory. The weapons would have a class- suit upgrade, weapon upgrade, abilities, and beams.
The suit upgrades would be Varia, Gravity, and maybe one more. I'm still thinking about that.
For weapon upgrade there'd be the missile, morphball bomb, upgrade missiles to super, power bombs, and homing missiles which you could switch between super missile and homing missile at the inventory screen. In addition to these, there's also the charge beam, which is no longer a beam but a suit upgrade that allows you to charge your beams.
For abilities, there'd be morphball, high jump, speed boost, jet pack hover which you hover for a little while, screw attack, and space jump.
The beams are Ice which freezes foes, wave passes through walls, plasma passes through enemies and has wider range, shock coil which homes in on one enemy and drains life. Each beam has a different characteristic so you switch between them.

PS- Sakurai said Ridley was "pretty impossible" when interviewed in NP for a character in Brawl.

Psh. Nintendo fans... I don't know why you bother with Metroid when you can play Metal Gear, or Metroid Prime when you can play Metal Gear Solid.

Yeah. I like Metroid. Awesome ideas too, really like it. Would be cool game too, I would definately play it.

Or sorry. The name was a joke but the rest was something I was going to send into the NP pulse if not Japan. But then there's translation issues. I'll change the name.
