I read Marvel comics all the time, and buy comics every week! Some of my current favorite series are Captain America, Immortal Iron Fist, Thunderbolts, Avengers: The Initiative, and X-Factor.

Respect Darth, thats all I can say.

Does anyone here regularly read comics?

I don't really like comics that much. I read Ultimate Spider-man for a while, also, but I just stopped reading after the clone thing.

I've never read a comic.

I only read Bionicle comics now. I started about a year ago. I've read about 3 or 4 comics before that though, but other than that I haven't really read any comics before that, not including the funnies from the newspaper.

The Bionicle ones don't make sense anymore, either. I really missed the old guys, and now they've finally brought them back, but I can't tell what the heck is going on. Apparently Makuta's back, except with an army.

I have like 20 Bionicle comics that came with Lego magazines. That was a while ago though.

Basically, here's what's happening. The Nuva's destiny is to reawaken Mata Nui, and to do that, they have to go to the core of the world (Karda Nui). Once there, they split up. Kopaka, Lewa, and Pohatu go to the skies to stop the Makuta from turning all the Matoran of Light there into Matoran of Shadow, which would have a disasterous effect on the world. Tahu, Gali, and Onua go to the Swamp to search for the Mask of Life, which they believe will help them reawaken Mata Nui (little knowing that the Mask of Life has made a body for itself and flown into the skies).
As for the "army", I'll make this brief. When Mata Nui took power, there were the Makuta, a species of beings who were in charge of making the Rahi of the world. The original group was lead by Miserix, and the lieutenant of Miserix was the Makuta you know (The Makuta Takanuva fought. For reference, he's being referred to by his newly discovered name - Teridax). Due to a jealousy of Mata Nui, they gradually began becoming corrupted, and after the Barraki's failed rebellion, Teridax began to plan on how to overthrow Mata Nui.
He sent Mutran, a fellow Makuta, to Tren Krom, an organic being who looked after the universe before Mata Nui was able to look after it himself. When Tren Krom (who was imprisoned for a long, long time, thus wanting to know info) probed his mind to find out what had happened whiel Mata nui was in charge, he accidentally gave Mutran the secrets as to how the universe worked. Teridax used this info to infect Mata Nui with an edited version of the virus that the Makuta used to make Rahi, and then set in motion the events of 2004-2005. Then the events of 2001-2003 happened, and after Makuta left his previous body of Maxilos, he sent 6 Makuta to Karda Nui who too split up. Later, Antroz (the leader of the sky group) called for Mutran (and later Icarax) to assist them by bringing them his Shadow Leaches.

I thought Matoro sacrificed his life and awakened Mata Nui... or did that only buy them more time?
Lord Pyre
I liked it when it was just good guys vs. Makuta...
At least Kopaka's back. Does he still have his same awesome personality? (He's my favorite if you didn't figure that out...)

From what I remember.
