How to connect the Wii to the internet? All right, I've got good news and bad news.
The good news is that I just picked up a Wii, so I will (if I can get my hands on a copy) be able to play brawl the day it comes out.
The bad news is that I have no idea how to get it connected to the internet.
Can anyone lend me a hand with this?

Ok, you could get a wireless router, there are several types, or I believe there is some wii specific device.

Do you have a wireless router? If so, it should be fairly easy. If not, you need to buy one. That or a USB thingamajig.

I have a Router, and since it has an antenna, I'd say it is wireless. What do I do with it (I do hope it can be found on the computer, as the book that came with the router has been misplaced).

Uhh... it should be connected to the internet. Go to options on the Wii and find Internet Options to configure things.

Never mind, I found out the problem. As it turns out, the router wasn't plugged into the computer.

I had MAJOR trouble with my DS and Wii. After half a year I got my DS through manual, after another 6 months with my Wii I got it working but it was on and off.
Go to configure internet settings, then search for connection. Follow the steps, you may need to insert a Wep key. If that doesn't work, use manual. I don't know where to find your setting since you probably have a different router than mine.

Woot! Congrats on picking up a wii. I'm not too savvy with the whole internet thing, but I know mine works. Thats good enough for me.
