HeroscapersThis thread is to talk about breif new stuff about heroscape. The kind of stuff that may be considered spam on heroscapers. An example would be I just got another pack of Monks and Sentinals. This is not a heroscapers bashing thread.

Once a month, my friend hosts a "gameday" at his house. We have one floor of the house dedicated to Heroscape, and we all bring over our heroscape stuff, build a huge board and play a long game (we bring our stuff over a few days ahead of time and make the board, so we can start playing right when gameday starts)
Our next gameday is this Saterday actually. Wish me luck! (
We usually only get one or two games of Heroscape in, I haven't won any games since 07 lol

Unfortunately, the nearby walmarts and targets don't sell heroscape anymore. The nearest seller is ToysRus and it only sells the Death Reavers expansion. Thats IT! And they're just so expensive online, I just can't afford to buy Heroscape anymore.

Don't worry Madnik. I'm pretty sure WotC said they would restock hasbrotoyshop. That's where I bought 95% of my Heroscape stuff. The only stuff I bought in a real store was RotV, SotM, and RttFF.
I have saved so much money by ordering on hasbrotoyshop, thanks to the Promo Codes.
Impressive order, Shades. I'm probably going to get 2x Jungle, 3 of each common of wave 8 (most likely 2 for the Groks), and of course, AA. I really love large figure expansions.

I hope so, I looked on ebay. Did you know that some of the early wave expansions are selling for up to $40 a piece on there?

It's not that ecxiting. I expected a male, and more. Ullar Ninja? They're just breaking up this game. One ninja for each general, Einar, Utgar, Ullar, blah blah blah. Soon there will be Marro on Vydars side, and spiders on Jandar's side!

I highly doubt this,a couple of ninjas doesn't mean anything. I find it really exciting,and hope that they only show a little at a time.

Well, ninja are very "cross curricular." They have the Japanese Theme, which fits with Einar. The sneaky, cowardly, bad person theme, which fits with Utgar. The very, very fast theme, which fits with Ullar. I wouldn't be surprised to see one fighting for Vydar (with his sneaky, spy theme) or Aquilla (with her ragtag group of misfits) in the future.
The only general who SHOULDN'T ever get one is Jandar. He's all honorable and such... no backstabbers for him.

But really, all human ninjas are originally from Japan, which goes back to Einar. They could make an assassin guy, that looks like a ninja. That's what I thought Isamu was. They'd say assassin on the card. The fig looks awesome and then you see those things stickin out and your like, it's a girL? Then the fig isn't as cool.

On a side note, the site is losing its friendliness. It's all about reputation. Send in money and you get this and that. Then there's the whole reputation thing, trying to be the best. Its not all that family oriented anymore.

Reputation is a plus. As long as you're not in red... then you should be fine.
And Site Supporters have always been considered at a higher level than non supporters. Now they just get extra perks to go along with it.

I've gotten docked for some stupid stuff, yeah. But I do think it helps keep more spam away. I know that I think a lot more what I'm going to say when posting.
But it's usually just make the right guy happy at the right time, or to thank someone. That's what I've gotten some for.

I agree with him on that one. I was going to dock you myself,then I thoguht I'd give him a chance and let him try to post better. If you make an impact in a good way,you will be rewarded,however if you make a stupid post without thinking your going to get docked!

Meta was docked for that? Thats probably one of the most rediculas things I've ever heard. It was just a regular comment, and actually, almost a funny comment at that. It wasn't racist or anything. (Note: I have no clue when you posted that, as I don't get on too often anymore) Now, if you made an entire thread for that one comment, yeah kinda' stupid, but if it was casually posted on a different thread of a related topic, I see no reason why that would be frowned upon.
And now that I think of it, Onacara (spelling?) was the one that thought my Brawl Cards were odd because I was too old to make a custom card based on video game characters

I really don't see a connection between age and video game characters.
You can never be too old to make custom cards out of video game characters. This is something that I was taught when I was very young. I can only hope the parents of today are teaching the same thing to their kids.

I forgot to add something to that. I'm Asian, which is what angers me. I was born in America and am only half Asian, but still, I'm laughing at myself sort of, or my relatives. That's what angers me.

I've gotten docked for saying I was too lazy to wait 3 weeks to get limited upload privileges. 4 people docked me for that, and, fortunately, Hextr1p (I think) gave it back in one swoop because I had asked for it 3 weeks before I posted that thread, and Bunjee still hadn't given me permission. (I still don't have it.)

I'm at 81 points though, because I got RevRepped! :thumbsup: And, Hextr1p (I think) helped me out by giving me 50 rep points. Don't quote me on that, because I just randomly got 50 points, after telling Hex that I got docked because someone thought I couldn't take a joke, when I was making one myself.

Sujoah and Fyorlag Spiders were shown today. I'm glad their cards didn't change from the GenCon photos. I can't wait to try them out! Hopefully Sujoah will prove to be an effective Q9 counter.
The other thing I need to do is find some people to play the game with. How do you guys (especially Shades Fan) get people interested in the game? I feel pathetic asking this, but I'm desperate!

Well, I only play with my father (who's pretty much just me, only bigger and with children) and my friend, who got Heroscape at the same time as me.
It's enough to keep myself interested. Plus, I enjoy playing against myself, as well.

I got docked for making a thread "Emirroon- what's your army ideas?" When Aldin said I could.
Then when I tried to edit it to post my army. Aldin locked the thread. Then I told him, and he booned me. He sure is nice, but still.
I never play the game anymore. Too long, and only one person who knows how.

You know, then leave Scapers. I'm sick of everyone trying to diss scapers, when you wouldn't have know about any of this, with out it!
I'm the one who docked you for making that thread, for taking Aldin's Idea foe his thread.
It is one think to base a thread off of another, but he clearly had all that under his belt, and you took that even though you knew he was doing those threads. Why don't you think other members didn't start it for any other new unit, it isn't because he got their to make it to quick.
Now Johnny I would appreciate if you locked this thread, or deleted it, I don't feel like having people talk bad about Scapers, and then have to leave this site! For I really like this site, and who runs it!

Me too. I don't see any problems with the rep system, and I love the new website. The community is what makes it such a great website (sorry if that was a sappy moment). People have been trying to improve the quality of their posts since the system was implemented, and that's a good thing.
