Friend "orbs"Hello people!
Does anybody know what those brightly colored orbs are when you view your friend roster?
I've found, orange, green, and tan ones.

The one in the top right? I believe it's how good your connection was last game... red is the worst, green is the best.

Oh... if that's it then most people I've registered are reddish. Except for Jason.

Blue is actually the best connection. The order from best to worst is: blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. This can be found on page 21 of Brawl's instructions.

I was going to look there first, but thought it wouldn't be there. Thanks Heroic Monkey! That was a heroic act, looking in the rulebook, that was insanely brilliant

...you're trying to show me up, aren't you?
Don't.
I'm bigger than you, hammer boy.

Not at all... I'm just trying to help. I remembered seeing something about the colors in the rulebook, so I flipped through the pages and typed the number so somebody could check the source if they wanted to verify. I also used to think green was the best connection, and was surprised to learn that blue is the fastest while I was reading the rulebook.

I know. Your avatar is 120 x 200 pixels while mine is only 90 x 90.

I was just emphasizing that Heroic Monkey actually read the rulebook. I didn't know anybody did that, especially for a game like Smash Bros. I haven't read a game rulebook since... a long time ago.

I always read the rulebooks. Well, I flip through them. Like, for Smash Bros. I just looked through the character section.

I read rulebooks before I go to bed. Rulebooks for video games are read only once, but I always read a boardgame rulebook at least twice.

Monkey... he's the guy who thoroughly reads through the rulebooks, when we get a new video game, he reads through it. I'm not that kind of person though, but I'm used to Monkey reading through it now, he's done it a long time. I used to wonder why he always read it thoroughly, but I'm used to it now and don't question it, I think maybe just to know as much about it as possible before playing it or before playing it again. Whenever I need to know something about a game, I can usually ask him. I don't really bother reading rulebooks about boardgames/card games, Monkey just tells me everything I need to know, and leaves out unimportant/waste of time parts in the rulebooks. It's really quite nice.
