Ugh, you're very lucky if you can participate in that tourney! My mates and I are going to Gamestop to get it at midnight, but we're not allowed to stay for a tournement.

Your lucky your parents let you out at that time. I have a bedtime every single day. I'm probably going to get the game at 2:00 pm, when my mom gets "ready" in the morning.

I'm hoping my manager was able to convince the store owner to let him change my schedule. The one my manager made (but didn't post in time) gave me Sunday off, so that I could go for when the local TRU opens and most likely get Brawl. The one the store owner put together does not give me Sunday off. So, if I can't get the Sunday off, I will likely have to wait a week or two before I can get Brawl.

I got it at midnight yesterday! I've been playing for a long while now. My Subspace Emissary time is nearly 4 hours and I already have 41% (approximately, though I know it isn't at 50 yet but is above 40) clear on it.
To all of those trying to unlock their character, I recommend playing 15 games on Shadow Moses Island in regular Brawls to unock Ness, Marth, and Snake, and then rush over to Subspace Emissary to unlock the rest.

Hey Bloody, it's no fun beating a game in a week. I like taking it lesurely. I have only Ness, Luigi, and Marth. I am on event 2, and about 24 minutes into SSE.
I remember the good old days, when it took years to beat games. I only got to play for 2 hrs. though.

I played for a few hours. Not too long, though. I plan on leaving a lot of unlockables alone until I've had enough fun just playing normal Brawls, and Classic mode. (I'm saving Subspace for when I get together with a friend)
If I unlock everything right away, then I have nothing to look forward to later, ya know?

Me and my brother beat SSE and unlocked everyone except Toon Link and Wolf yesterday.  My bro pretty much unlocked everyone else with vs. matches (I still either fought or saw him fight  the character).

I just got lucario,and, Falco,I almost got captain falcon but he got the final smash.
I play about 3 hours a day. Any more than that and I would get sick of the game.

Got it at 4:11, played until three minutes ago (10:11).
6 Hours? Not too bad. I've unlocked Ness, Marth, Luigi, and Captain Falcon, along with Luigi's Mansion. 10% with Subspace. I'll post my code tomorrow.

As of yesterday, I have every character, every stage, every masterpiece, every assist trophy, and ~86% in SSE.
I was completely surprised by Hanenbow, I didn't even know it existed.

You can also get him by beating classic mode with ten characters, I believe.

I unlocked Sonic without beating the SSE and I've done classic mode with only 2 characters. I also haven't done 300 matches (I think that's correct...). I heard running a certain distance can unlock him too, so maybe that's what did it.

I beat SSE at 84%, but I did get Sonic through vs. matches.

Wow... I can't believe we just got Brawl 3 days ago... been playing forever... unlocked every character and brawl stage yesterday... and I'm not saying I did this, Heroic Monkey and I unlocked it... but wow... it seems like we've had Brawl for weeks now. Hmm... I use dots a lot o.O

I beat Subspace with about 95% yesterday at 11:30. Poor R.O.B. Honestly, how can anyone hate him? He's so cute and sad and lonely. I wanna give him a hug. 
Also, the main theme makes PERFECT sense now. The first half is about a nameless, legendary hero; a hero known by all, the subject of myths and folklore. The second half is about legendary heroes such as the one mentioned before, fighting side-by-side with eachother. It's really, REALLY awesome, because it fits Smash perfectly, AND is epic.
