Accomplishments!

I figured we should start a thread about what we have accomplished so far in the game.
~I have gotten 30,000 points on the home run so far
~ Have smashed all the targets in every level in under a minute in each one.
~ Some other things!
Bloody the Marro Stinger

1. 93% on Subspace Emissary.
2. Unlocked all characters.
MetaNite

You really strive at what you do Bloody... really... just like the first month or so you were on Heroscapers, you were on there a lot. My cousin said I'm a little like that too, or was.

The funny thing is, I'm watching Forrest Gump now, and can't get the accent out of my head. It makes me feel stupid.

Anyway, I got 11 seconds on target test 1. I think that's a record.
MadNik

90% Subspace (normal mode)
All characters
Events 1-40

I think thats it.
Dartheyegouger

As of yesterday, I have every character, every stage, every masterpiece, every assist trophy, and ~86% in SSE, and lots of vault stuff.

How can you have every character(sonic) without beating SSE?

By playing regular brawl matches.
The night I got the game, I had 3 of my friends with me and we played multiplayer brawl all night.  We unlocked Ness, Marth, Luigi, C. Falcon, Falco, Sonic, and Lucario.  Those were just by playing a bunch of regular matches.  The rest I got from single player.
EDIT: Oh, and I encountered Sonic in SSE when I was only at like, 75%.  So even if you don't get him from multiplayer, you can get him in SSE without 100%
Bloody the Marro Stinger

Yeah, you get Sonic in the last level, not by getting 100%.
Anyways, today I just added all 41 events beaten to my record.
Lord Pyre

I've beaten the first 20 without many problems. I'll just have to unlock the rest of the characters to finish them!
Dartheyegouger

Bloody the Marro Stinger wrote:

Me too, plus the Co-Op events.
johnny139

27 Characters Unlocked, 43% finished with Subspace, and roughly four hours in. Also, I just unlocked the Donkey Kong Masterpiece. Yay!
Trav11111

all characters, all stages, 93% sse.  Now I'm working on unlocking the stuff the isn't so important.
Shades fan

93% done with Subspace!
Have all characters except Wolf.
johnny139

30 Characters Unlocked (just got Snake, Lucario (ugh), and Mr. G&W), 55% done at the 7:30 mark in Subspace.

I'm trying to finish all of the levels 100%, hence the slow progress.
MetaNite

I have 22% in SSE, all on hard or very hard
30 characters: Ganondorf,  and Lucario are farthest I've gotten
19 events, I forgot about the last one
250 songs I think
at least 40 trophies
All but 1 masterpiece

That's all I can think of.
Dartheyegouger

Classic mode with all characters and transformations.
MadNik

Has anyone been able to beat boss mode on Very Hard yet?  I cant, I make it to taboo and die a fluke death.
Bloody the Marro Stinger

Haven't tried, but I will at some point.
I've beaten All-Star on Intense.  Good lord, is that difficult... the difference between Normal and Intense there is pretty much 2,000x Normal's difficulty.
Bloody the Marro Stinger

Just got back from Chicago and played Brawl a little before my brother got on.  I beat Boss Battles on Very Hard and Hard.  Hard took a few tries, but I did it eventually.  Very Hard I did after failing about 5 times when my last two opponents before Tabuu were... Master Hand and Crazy Hand, who are easier than everybody else.  That pratically saved my life, and I beat Master Hand, used my last heart, beat up Crazy Hand with 23% remaining, and then beat up Tabuu.
Tabuu himself is actually pretty easy now that I've finally got the timing down to dodge his instant kill move.  Paradoxically enough, most of his attacks are extremely easy to dodge if you know what you're doing.

Its just that one instant kill move you mentioned that always gets me.

Yeah, they're really easy. On my first try on Very Hard when I fought Master Hand, he didn't even touch me.
Bloody the Marro Stinger

MadNik wrote:

I don't blame you.  It's a hard move to dodge.  You have to shield dodge three times in a row at exactly the right time.  Play against him repeatedly on easy, since his timing for the attack doesn't change at all.  Once you're able to dodge it there, you can take him on.
DarkWolf

I didn't even know it was possible to dodge that move lol
Bloody the Marro Stinger

Heck, I only knew it was dodgable because I have a guide.  The guide usually isn't very useful, to be honest.  It's only useful for Subspace Emissary, since the tips for the events are obvious, and even then it's only useful for things like the Great Maze.
As for Master Hand and Crazy Hand being easier than everybody else, there actually is someone easier, now that I think about it.  Galleom is his name.  Yay for easily predictable and easily dodgable attacks!  It's a shame too, because he looks awesome, and it's ridiculously cool how his best attack is a belly flop.

oh yeah that's right, he's very easy. But Master Hand is still the easiest for me, maybe because he is the most familiar attacks, sine he's been in all 3 games.
MadNik

Alright guys, I'm going to try... Intense Boss Battle!
Wish me luck

Good luck MadNik!

Bloody the Marro Stinger

Almost beat Boss Battles with every character (only have Ice Climbers and Pit left).  Oddly enough, I always seem to over-predict when the Instant Kill attack is going to happen on easy, but can easily dodge it on any other difficulty.  It's a paradox.

Weird, those two (and Fox) are the only ones I HAVE beaten it with.
Bloody the Marro Stinger

R.O.B. and Yoshi are pretty good there, too (R.O.B. is who I usually use for it, obviously).  Use the Up-A in midair for R.O.B. to damage, and for Yoshi use your Down-Arieal attack.
Firemaster

I managed to do the 'Get 5 Cruel Brawl K.O.es' challenge. It's quite difficult if you don't know the secret.

16 here.

The secret involves Jigglypuff, right?  If I'm right, I think I know it, but haven't tried yet.

I use kirby's up special on them when thier over the edge. The second slash knocks them down to a KO. Ask Darth, I sent him a replay.
johnny139

I used Pit to fly back and forth under the platform.
AzureOcean

johnny139 wrote:

That's what darth did.
I tried it, but had better luck with Kirby.
MadNik

I used Ike for that challenge.  I ran to one of the edges and jumped off, then quickly used aether up into the air (damaging... alloys?) and when I came down, I'd come down just close enough to grip the edge, drop, and do it again... a thousand times.

Try using Marth like that.
I got 21 KOs.
MetaNite

I tried using Pit, and Kirby. After 20 tries I got five. I tried using Ike's counter. They charged, I countered. I managed to kill one but then he respawned above my head and well... I lost.

Nah, I got his replay. He went back and forth on one side of the platform, I physically went UNDER the platform and came up on the other side.
Lord Pyre

In Melee I got about 6 or seven with Jigglypuff using rest. It worked a lot better than I thought it would...

Let me findbmy code so I can send you mine.

PS: I tried that too but they just jumped back up.
Creationist

-all normal and co-op events clear
-SSE completely clear

-20 stages made
Bloody the Marro Stinger

Now I've beaten Boss Battles with every character, beat 8 guys in Cruel Brawl with Jigglypuff, 95% in Subspace Emissary (from 93%), and gotten every Masterpiece.
johnny139

Oh, I beat Subspace 100% a few days ago. No special trophy or anything, but the feeling is good enough.
Lord Pyre

In Cruel Brawl yesterday, I got 16 using the Kirby final-cutter method. It took me a while to get the timing right...

That's what I did too. I would have gotten many more K.O.es, but I decided that as soon as I got the 5, to just suicide.

If you get ten, you get the Liquid Snake sticker.
Bloody the Marro Stinger

I got the Liquid Snake sticker yesterday, as well as all the Alloy Trophies (I used my first Golden Hammer on the Blue Alloy trophy.  See below this paragraph as to why I used it on her), all the Sandbag related challenges are completed, and now only 5 challenges are unknown to me (and I even know one of them, which is to beat Boss Battles on Intense).
As for the Blue Alloy trophy, the reason I Golden Hammered it was time.  In case you don't know, the Blue Alloy requires you to beat 100-Man Brawl with every character.  Now, this would take WAY more time than it's worth, especially since I already beat all the other 100-Man Brawl challenges.  There was nothing to gain from doing it, and the time I would have spent doing it is better spent elsewhere.
Bloody the Marro Stinger

Now I can add that I've beaten Target Smashes 1, 2, and 4 with all the characters and beat them within 16, 19, and 32 seconds, respectively.
Lord Pyre

Just beat subspace with my friend, and have all stages and characters.
Bloody the Marro Stinger

I'm on fire this weekend.  My latest acheivement was that I've beaten Target Smash 3 within 20 seconds with Falco and beaten it with all characters.  Only Target Smash 5 to go!
DarkWolf

johnny139

I beat all of the Target Smashes a while ago... the only Challenges I have left are All-Star, Boss Battle, and inevitable (30 hours of Brawls, collect all stickers, and so on).
Bloody the Marro Stinger

Admit it, I would be soo far ahead of you right now if I wasn't gone for a week.
All-Star is easy.  Just do it on well... easy.  I haven't beat it all yet, but doing it like that makes it unbelievably hard to lose.  I plan to use my Golden Hammers for the inevitable ones.
johnny139

All-Star IS easy, but time-consuming. It feels like a chore. Thank god I don't need to go through it once with each Pokemon Trainer Pokemon! I've gotten about fifteen done.

Boss Battles takes a lot less time, but also feels like a chore. Not fun. And beating it on Intense would be fine... IF YOU COULD CONTINUE!!! I don't even want the damn Galleom Tank Trophy.

I've already used a lot of Golden Hammers... one left. I'll probably use it on "Play 100 hours of Brawl!" due to impatience.
MadNik

I haven't used any hammers yet, and I don't want to.  I want to beat them all.  But Intense Boss Battle loves to kick my ass.

I don't play regular Brawls much. Fighting CPUs is boring.

I unlocked most characters that way, so I've spent many an hour there.

Almost 30 hours of V.S Brawl.

I would, but I couldn't sleep with the humming noise, and leaving it on during the day could risk a shutdown by whoever leaves after I do.
Bloody the Marro Stinger

All the challenges relating to Classic mode are beaten.  Now I only have the All-Star challenges to do, some other things like get 500 trophies or get all songs, and that Galleom Tank Trophy, which I'm doing last.
Dartheyegouger

Last week I got all Subspace enemy trophies.
Bloody the Marro Stinger

Nice!  Does that include the bosses or no?  In either case, if I don't have enough trophies by the end of my All-Star runs, I'll do that.
johnny139

Dartheyegouger wrote:

So did I, last weekend. Or was it the weekend before? Either way, in total I now have 506 trophies... so I got Baby Peach, too.

Currently, the following challenges are left for me:

Clear Boss Battles on Intense difficulty.
Get 2,000 or more KOs in brawls.
    Collect all stickers.
    Clear All-Star with all characters.
Play over 100 hours of brawls.
Collect Final Smash trophies for all characters.
Clear All-Star on Very Hard difficulty.
Clear Boss Battles with 20 characters.
    Play 30 hours of brawls.
    Endure a 15-Minute Brawl.
    Clear All-Star on Intense difficulty.
Clear Boss Battles with 10 characters.
Clear Boss Battles on Very Hard difficulty.
    Play 50 hours of brawls.
    Collect all songs.
Clear Boss Battles with all characters.
I have two Golden Hammers left... not sure what to use them on yet. I don't want to use it on any of the All-Star or "Play X hours of brawls" challenges, as I intend to do all of them eventually, and I can't use them on Boss Battles. So I'll probably break 15-Minute Brawl and collect all stickers.
MetaNite

I used one of my hammers on Clear All Star on Intense with All Characters. I think that was it?

I have a lot more challenges to go.
MadNik

Collect all songs
Collect all stickers
50 hours of brawl
100 hours of brawl
Boss Battle on Intense
Boss Battle with 10
Boss Battle with All
Collect all final smash trophies

Still have all my hammers
Bloody the Marro Stinger

We're saying what we have left, right?
For me, it's:
Collect all Songs
Collect all Stickers
30 Hours of Brawls
50 Hours of Brawls
100 Hours of Brawls (my excuse for not doing the Mewtwo thing is laziness, and I don't have wi-fi so I don't have 30 yet.)
Clear Boss Battles on Intense
Clear All-Star with 10 characters
Clear All-Star with all characters
Get 1000 K.O.s in Brawls
Get 2000 K.O.s in Brawls
Collect 500 trophies
I think that's it.  Once I get the 30 hours of Brawls one, I'll have 4 Golden Hammers.  I've only used one so far.
Bloody the Marro Stinger

Whoo boy.  Out of those, I only have the following left:
Collect all Stickers
Clear Boss Battles on Intense
Collect Final Smash trophies for all characters
Collect 500 trophies
I got the 1000 K.O.s, beat All Star with ten characters, and 30 hours of Brawls challenges, and then snapped and used my four remaining Golden Hammers on 50 Hours of Brawls (by extension giving me Collect all Songs), 100 Hours of Brawls, 2000 K.O.s, and Complete All-Star with all characters by accident since I mistook that one for the 100 Hours of Brawls (I meant to use it on Collect all Stickers).  Ah well.  No big loss, since I only have 78 stickers to collect anyways until I get them all.  I only have 11 characters left until I get Collect Final Smash trophies for all characters, and then I'll have only 5 trophies until I get the Collect 500 trophies one, leaving me with Clear Boss Battles on Intense as my last.
Bloody the Marro Stinger

I guess I'm the only one who hasn't forgotten about this thread.
Anyways, now I only have the "Collect All Stickers" challenge left, and I only have about 40 more stickers to go.  In other news, I've also beaten all levels in Subspace Emissary on Intense... on my first save file.  I'm doing it again on a second that I'm getting all the cutscenes on.  Before I did that, though, I decided to try to face Crazy Hand and Master Hand in Classic, which I did.
Then, also in classic, I tried to beat Classic on Intense... with only one life!  I managed to do it, and only used continues on Stage 10 (Metal Sonic.  I beat him on my second try when he accidentally used an Electrode... on himself.) and Stage 12 (Master Hand).
Why did I have to use about 10 continues on Master Hand?  Master Hand is easy... but on Classic on Intense, his attacks all do 50% at LEAST.  That isn't too bad.  What's bad is that doing it with only one life means he can often kill you in three hits, so if you get hit, you're screwed.  That turned out to be the case pretty often for me, mainly because of his stupid Finger Walk.  If he uses it right next to you, it goes right into the flicking part, making it nearly impossible to dodge.  But I finally managed to beat him when he got the brilliant idea of doing his laser attack twice, which I exploited.
MetaNite

I don't really play for challenges. I just go online. You can't get any challenges there.
Bloody the Marro Stinger

I'd do the same thing as you if my online worked.  Shame it doesn't, and since I'm going away for vacation, it doesn't look like it will anytime soon.
Maybe I can order the thing I need for a wired connection today, so that when I come back it'll be ready...
MadNik

I was trying, but I got really board with it and I just unlocked everyone with brawls.
The only reson I'd play SSE again is for if there was a stage or character, but otherwise I don't care about boss mode or anything.

And it's Jigglypuff.
