Okay, people, it's just occured to me you do not have a thread on the remake of the best Kirby game ever. Specifically, you do not have a thread on Kirby Super Star Ultra, a remake of Kirby Super Star. I just got this game, and I'm lovin' it, as the saying goes.
Anyways, as of right now, I've beaten all 6 original games, Revenge of the King, and I'm in the middle of Meta Knightmare Ultra. If you have any questions about the game you want answered here, I'm here to help! _________________ This space for rent.
I played some more last night after I posted that, and now I'm finished with Meta Knightmare Ultra, and I've beaten Helper to Hero with Bonkers. In case you're wondering, Helper to Hero is a pseudo arena where you use Helpers instead of Kirby. Bonkers DOMINATES - trust me on that. Just use his Up-B and regular hammer swipes (and arieal swipes for Kracko) and you'll be fine. Now, since you get an extra cutscene for beating it with all the helpers, I'll do that... after I beat the true Arena (speaking of which, I still have to beat the regular Arena... stupid Computer Virus). _________________ This space for rent.
Sorry for double-posting, but I've finally beaten the True Arena! In my humble opinion, Galacta Knight is harder than Marx Soul, but that may just be me. Now, it's time to beat Helper to Hero with everyone! _________________ This space for rent.
Kirby Super Star isn't on the virtual console, so no, you didn't. Go buy Kirby Super Star Ultra now if you call yourself a Kirby fan and haven't played Kirby Super Star before.
Anyways, I've now beaten Helper to Hero with Bonkers, Bugzy, Rocky, Plasma Wisp, GIM, TAC, Simirror, and Capsule J2. Bonkers holds my best time out of all the characters at a 6:43 mark (for comparison - Capsule J2, my second best time, has a 10 minute time). 8 down, 12 to go!
Edit: Woohoo! I've beaten Helper to Hero with everyone! My best record is an improved Bonkers - my new time for Bonkers is 5:53 (in other words, a 50 second difference!). The video you get after completing Helper to Hero with everyone is a video with all the old Kirby Super Star openings! I had a ton of free time, so I thought I would do it now. _________________ This space for rent.
