Dude, I'm going to try again in jsut a few moments.
Wolfen and I have been trying since 12:30--ish to beat it on Very Hard mode. I've come the closest so far, getting Taboo to one more hit, before being eraticated by another uber-attack

When I beat him on hard I found Samus the very best. She has really good up attacks and up special move
I used.
Diddy Kong
Samus
Game and watch

Gah! I still haven't beaten Boss battle on VH Mode...
I have.
Here is my advice for the bosses on Very Hard:
Master Hand: Stand under him and slam him with your most damaging upwards attack (R.O.B.'s Up-Smash and Up-Air come to mind). Really, that's pretty much it. Getting damaged above 50% on this guy alone in Boss Battle means you're pathetic.
Crazy Hand: Look at Master Hand above, since he's pretty much the same thing.
Petey Piranha: You can damage the cages by using your most powerful melee attack, but it not only takes too long, but you're likely to recieve absurd amounts of damage in the process. Avoid this by only damaging him with melee when you start, and do that until he jumps. Go in the opposite direction of his jump and pepper him with ranged attacks until he jumps, then repeat. Repeat ad naseum until he's dead, which will take a while.
Rayquaza: You're going to do more damage by attacking Rayquaza's head than anywhere else, so do that. Try to be in the air most of the time, as then you dodge most of his attacks. The ones you can't dodge by jumping are his burrowing ones, which are easy to dodge anyway.
Porky: The first difficult boss in the slightest. His hardest attack to dodge is by far the one where he raises two of his legs and summons an energy ball that in turn hits you with a laser. It's very difficult to dodge - even Air Dodging is difficult, not to mention when he uses it as you attack him. Your best bet is to fly over it, which is difficult. When he jabs you repeatedly, try to Air Dodge or use your Up-B and get out of it. Don't bother using Aerial Attacks - he's too small to reliably hit him with them.
Galleom: This guy is EASY. In my opinion, he's the easiest boss in the entire game. His attacks are absurdly predictable, and he has a long wind-up before he actually uses them. The only saving grace for him is that he usually doesn't wait that long in between them, but they're so easy to dodge it usually doesn't matter. Stand under him and fire away. His attacks are mostly aimed in front of him, so whenever he uses his punching and stomping attacks, get behind him unless he uses the one where he stomps to the other end of the field. In that case, jump with him, since he can only harm you with that if you're on the ground. His most deadly attack is his belly flop (wow...). Get behind him to dodge it, and you sure do want to dodge it. Trust me. It's a surprisingly powerful belly flop.
Ridley: Basically, he's Master Hand. Use arieals to harm him, as your ground attacks won't reach him in all likelihood. One of his few different attacks is to do a slam, which he always uses after doing a mini-one, though he shares that pre-animation with another attack that's easier to dodge. He's still pretty easy.
Duon: Whoo boy. This is probably the hardest boss in the entire game. The blue side has powerful melee attacks. So powerful, in fact, that it is pratically suicide to use melee attacks against that side. Pepper him with ranged attacks until he switches to the Pink one. The Pink one is more bearable to melee, so do that against it, and prepare to dodge it's gun attacks. The missile attack can actually be used against this boss, as you can lure them to Duon and they'll hit him instead. It's risky, though, as they have the power altogether of one of the blue side's attacks. Above all, make sure you can recover well against this guy. If he gets you to a posistion where he can knock you off the course, he usually knocks you very far, so if you use someone like Bowser, you won't be able to go far enough to recover.
Meta-Ridley: Whenever he hangs above the left side of the Falcon Flyer idle, attack him with arieal moves. When he moves away from you, jump to the right to dodge ALL of his attacks. I'm serious. A jump to the right will dodge pretty much all of them. The only ones you can't dodge by doing that are his missile attack (he launches a bunch of missiles. Jump to the right, but instead of staying there, use an Up-B to go ABOVE him and strike him with an arieal), his ground pound attack (it's an instant kill if you're hit. This has a different pre-animation then his other ones, as he flies above you instead of away from you when he goes off-screen), and his triple fireball attack (he grabs the engine and drags the ship down. Use an ranged attack that points downwards to get him off the engine and avoid the fireballs).
Tabuu: This guy's a pushover once you are able to dodge his instant-kill move. To dodge that, you have to shield dodge three times in a row at just the right time. It's tricky, and probably the hardest move to dodge in the game, but once you have it down, he isn't hard. Most of his attacks are simple dashing and projectile attacks, so you can jump to dodge them. The only ones you should look out for are his whip and two teleporting attacks. _________________ This space for rent.
Never knew about the Pink side being weaker than the Blue. Or the missles hurting itself, I shall take advantage of that.
I don't get how you can pwn me in brawling but I beat VH boss battle and you didng't
I can easily get to Tabuu with any character, but I can not dodge his... wave thingy that always kills.
EDIT: 3/24/08 9:10pm- I FANALLY KILLED THAT B******!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (on very hard mode)
Good job, Madnik! Now you can try it on insane mode. Won't that be fun?
Yup, couldn't help but notice the new box telling me to do again on Intense...
If I don't show up on the forum within the next few days, I've killed myself.
